Tillamook Bay Community College (TBCC) is expanding access to student services, classes, and academic support by opening on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
For many TBCC students, getting to campus during the traditional workweek can be difficult. Students may be working full-time, raising children, caring for family members, or returning to college after years away from school. Saturday hours give students more flexibility to meet important college needs without rearranging an already busy weekday schedule.
Student Services and Tutoring Available
Student Services staff will be available on Saturdays to assist students with advising, registration, paying their bill, and other college-related questions. Tutoring will also be available for students who need help with coursework, clarification on assignments, or additional support with challenging concepts.
By making these services available on Saturdays, TBCC is helping students stay connected and keep moving toward their educational goals.
GED and ESOL Classes on Saturdays
GED and ESOL classes will also be offered on Saturdays, creating another option for students who may not be able to attend during the week.
Weekend classes are especially valuable for adult learners balancing education with work, family, and other responsibilities. Expanding these opportunities is one more way TBCC is working to make education accessible to students throughout Tillamook County. Community Education on Saturdays
Saturday opportunities at TBCC also include Community Education courses for community members interested in learning something new or exploring a creative interest.
Linux Alternatives to Windows 11 will take place on October 3 and October 10. Participants can bring their own laptop and explore Linux while learning about alternatives to Windows 11.
URC: Unwind, Recharge, Create! is a hands-on crafting workshop covering junk journaling, watercolor pencil basics, collage, and the Zentangle Method. The class will meet on the first and third Saturdays of each month beginning October 3.

TBCC is open Saturdays
Whether you need to meet with Student Services, get help with an assignment, attend a GED or ESOL class, or simply need another day to connect with the college, TBCC is now open every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. These expanded hours are another step toward making college services and educational opportunities easier to access for students whose schedules do not always fit within the traditional workweek.
